Who is Desi?

Hi, I'm Desi Winters, a 34-year-old native of Curitiba who is passionate about the world of arts. I am the creative mind behind the Artes da Desi brand, where I work as a Graphic Designer, Artisan, Youtuber and, more recently, as an Amigurumis Designer. I grew up in a family of artisans and took my first steps in crochet when I was 6 years old.

In 2011, I started sharing my work on Orkut and created a blog, which became a great success, opening doors for partnerships, at which time I became a Gold Blogger at Círculo, a partnership that remains with me to this day. Shortly afterwards, I embarked on the YouTube era (youtube.com/@artesdadesi), dedicating more than 10 years to the channel, teaching and sharing my passion for crochet.

In 2017, I took a step behind the scenes of the craft universe, focusing on designing graphics and crochet patterns.

​

 

Despite a period dedicated exclusively to digital, my love for crochet persists, now focused on amigurumis.
